Angelita Barcelona opens its doors at Hotel 1898, from September 30 to October 6. Mario Villalón and his team bring the complete Angelita experience to the Barcelona Cocktail Experience, with the help of Roku Gin.

The work of the team led by Mario Villalón at Angelita has recently earned them the award for 'Best Cocktail Bar in Spain 2021' at the FIBAR awards, as well as being listed by the industry as one of the most sustainable cocktail bars in the world.
They work without conventional instruments, that is, without a shaker or mixing glass, focusing on pastry and haute cuisine techniques that Villalón has inherited from a long and honest family culinary tradition.
Mario Villalón's cocktail bar's essence is vegetable garden, wine and cocktail. They maintain it in their menu with eight new drinks in which they keep the cold longer without using ice, and through glassware specially designed for it. One more step in the innovation that has always characterized Angelita and that is in line with its concept -and mantra- of sustainability.
They will present an evolution of their disruptive menu at Hotel 1898 on Las Ramblas: cocktails without ice. Villalón and his team's proposal eliminates the energy consumption of the machines that make ice and/or the storage freezers so that in addition to reducing water consumption, an electrical saving of 5-8% is achieved.
