Granja Viader, making its home on Carrer Xuclà since 1870, has robustly survived the many shifting trends, economic situations, and political events it’s seen in its rich 146-year-old history.
Founded by the Viader family, the Viader has passed from generation to generation, and its owners have included Mr. Marc Viader, founder of the Latvian Society and creator of the widely celebrated Cacaolat.
Its menu is perhaps best known for its homemade mató (fresh cheese), its Swiss chocolate, lady fingers, and traditional Mallorcan pastries, thought by many to be the best in Barcelona. You’ll also find sobrasada, foie-gras sandwiches, cheesecake, pies, and gluten-free delights.Carrer d'en Xuclà, 4-6
